  1. Greetings, Ryan!
I had the pleasure of reading about your adventures learning Bengali through the use of your wife in combination with Google Transliterate. Very interesting to read!

I am engaged to a wonderful Bengali girl myself, and have just begun the process of learning the language, primarily to speak but in extension to read and write ofcourse.

In the article about you and Irina there is a mention of your document of useful words and phrases; is there by chance anything you have published online somewhere?

And do you have any pointers and useful sites online you can point me to when it comes to learning Bengali and to help me study on my own, except the tutoring I already get from my fianceƩ?

Have a wonderful life, and thank you for sharing your story with the world. :)

  2. Hello, ahnberg. Thanks for your comment, and congratulations on your engagement. :)

I've added a new blog post containing links to all of the online resources I use on a regular basis (excluding Google Transliteration, which I'm sure you already know how to access).

Take a look and see if it helps. Feel free to send me any additional questions you might have. If I don't know the answer, I will search until I find out what the answer is, and that way we will both learn. :)

    Take care, and good luck!
    Ryan
