100,000 Hits

Thank you all for reading about the things I think about. When I started blogging, I never expected to see 100,000 hits, but this is nice.

My most popular post of all time is an article about a news report that happily "got it right" about what it feels like to be an elite athlete. That post has nearly twice as many hits as the runner-up, my review of the Marigold album.

Facebook is the 3rd-best source of traffic for me. Interestingly, however, the number two slot belongs to none other than Sonic Charmer/The Crimson Reach. Looks like I owe him a big thank-you for the web traffic!

Most of my traffic, though, comes directly from Google, which is encouraging. Setting aside web searches specifically targeted to the name of my blog, I get a lot of hits through web searches for the word "title." Not really sure why, but I'll take it. I do get an awful lot of hits from searches for the Windsor Clockwork bicycle, thanks to my as-yet-unfinished series of reviews of my Clockwork bike. (If you're jonesing for an update, yep, it's still awesome.) Hilariously, I get an extremely large amount of web traffic through web searches for "tom morello hypocrite." No further comment required there, I suppose.

Most of you are using a Mozilla Firefox browser. Those who aren't are most likely using Internet Explorer. (WTF is wrong with you???) But a good, solid number of you are using Chrome.

The top ten countries reading my blog are as follows:

  1. United States
  2. China
  3. Canada
  4. United Kingdom
  5. Ukraine
  6. Poland
  7. Brazil
  8. Germany
  9. France
  10. Russia
Well, I've had a good run, and have no plans to stop any time soon, so let's get back to business, shall we?
