My Five-Word Response To The Crimson Reach

So what if you ‘agreed to host’ this person? So what if you ‘gave a job offer to’ this person? What does that have to do with whether this person may or should be allowed to cross the border? You’re totally free to make all the ‘agreements’ and sign all the ‘contracts’ you like with whomever you like. Nobody is saying otherwise. But that doesn’t mean that whoever you decide to ‘invite’, ‘contract with’, or ‘host’ suddenly no longer needs to obey laws (such as border- and immigration-laws) to which they may – totally and completely independently of you and the ‘agreement’ you made with them – be legitimately subject. The one thing has nothing to do with the other; your merely ‘contracting’ with a person does not have the magical power to melt away all legal restrictions upon that person that might impede their fulfillment of that ‘contract’ – nor should it.
So let's change the law.
