Workout Of The Day

I'm pressed for time today because I have a band rehearsal. I won't have time to do a long or complicated workout. But just because a person only has a short amount of time to workout doesn't mean a person can't get a great workout in.

Why not use the limited time frame to get in some pace work? If you're thinking, "fartlek," you're on the right track! Today's workout is as follows:

  • 5 minutes warm-up
  • 2 minutes tempo pace
  • 1 minute easy pace
  • 2 minutes tempo pace
  • 1 minute hard pace
  • 1 minute easy pace
  • 2 minutes tempo pace
  • 1 minute hard pace
  • 5 minutes cool-down
